We were honored to participate in the 7th Annual Statewide Village Conference, held September 11–12, 2025, at The California Endowment in Sacramento. The event brought together Village leaders, policymakers, healthcare partners, and advocates from across California to share ideas, celebrate successes, and address challenges in building stronger communities for older adults.
For Helpful Village, it was an inspiring opportunity to connect with so many dedicated leaders and to listen closely to the conversations shaping the future of the Village Movement. Panels on policy and funding, partnerships with healthcare organizations, and innovative approaches to social care highlighted just how vital Villages are for addressing isolation, improving wellbeing, and supporting Aging-in-Place.
We were especially encouraged by the Village Voices World Café, where participants collaborated on actionable strategies for advancing social care across the state. Hearing directly from Village leaders about their experiences gave us valuable insights into where we, as a technology partner, can continue to improve and innovate.
Being part of this conference reminded us once again of our mission: to help Villages thrive by providing tools that make operations easier, communication smoother, and outcomes stronger. We came away not only inspired but also with a clearer understanding of how Helpful Village can continue to support the incredible work happening in communities throughout California.
We thank Village Movement California for hosting such a thoughtful and energizing event and look forward to continuing the collaboration. Together, we can help more older adults live healthier, happier, and more connected lives.
