AARP Selects Helpful Village as Finalist of National Social Connection Competition
Dear Village Community,
Many of you are aware that Helpful Village is a startup that came out of Silicon Valley, and since our inception there, we’ve grown to become the most-used Village software that exists today.
Due to the identical factors contributing to our success, we’ve been selected by AARP as one of the nation’s “best tech solutions for reducing social isolation and advancing connections so that everyone thrives when they age.”
As one of the 6 chosen finalists, Helpful Village will attend the What’s Next Longevity Venture Summit on June 14-15, where we will receive mentorship from AARP’s AgeTech Collaborative accelerator program and present in front of a panel of judges, increasing exposure for the nation to see the strides we’ve made in our effort to make aging easier for everyone.
The final stage of the competition will take place on June 14-15 at the Claremont Hotel & Spa in Berkeley, California. To attend the event, learn more about today’s longevity economy, and root for your friends at Helpful Village, register here: What's Next Longevity Venture Summit | June 14-15, 2023 (boomerventuresummit.com)
We hope to see you there, but if you cannot make it to California next week, please cross your fingers for us because if we end up winning the national competition, we believe it will be a significant stride towards the collective welfare of the Village Movement. Yours truly, Manuel Acevedo

I've been putting together Tesla × Wrap as a small browser-based design workspace: choose a vehicle template, add images or text, check the model from different sides, and export a digital wrap PNG. What interests me most is the translation from flat artwork to a curved surface. If you've worked on something similar, I'd love to hear how you teach that first step without overwhelming people with 3D terminology.
Driving games make every journey feel different. You might spend one minute escaping police cars in Escape Road and the next launching a sports car off a giant ramp. From chaotic races to free-roaming adventures, there is always something new to try. Would love to hear your thoughts about driving games!
He estado usando Pico Image para redimensionar y comprimir imágenes. Todo funciona en el navegador así que no se sube nada a ningún servidor. La eliminación de fondo también funciona bastante bien.
