Village to Village Conference in San Diego was a Success!
We wanted to send out a recap about the National Village Gathering in San Diego.
We had amazing weather and an even better event! The days were packed with great lectures, thought-provoking conversations, and quite a few laughs with new friends and old.
We had a fabulous turn out for our demo presentation at the conference and it was really fun seeing plenty of new and as well as all the familiar faces there! We wanted to share our announcement we made at the presentation with everyone!
We are excited to present Amazon Alexa will be compatible with Helpful Village platforms. We are thrilled to have this additional way to interact with a Village. Some Villager’s do not use computers, some do not use tablets nor smartphones.
So we thought we could bring the Village closer to the Villager by using voice and sentences as simple as: “Alexa, ask my Village...”

We are looking forward to showing a demo of Alexa in action at our next Users Group Meeting! The HVUG meeting will be held on Wednesday, October 24th at 11 am PST/2 pm EST.
